Not news: Islamofascists want to kill us all just for being American.
News: As though there weren't already enough fascists around, incompetent, corrupt, Christofascists are running our government. (Well, it's no news to some of us, but to many people it apparently is a novel concept.)
Real news on the terror front would be the capture of Osama bin Forgotten, but the Misadministration needs angry, uncaught terrorists to scare the rest of us with. So don't look for Osama to do the perp walk anytime soon.
