Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid expressed his displeasure with Joe Lieberman's speech before turning back over to catch a few more zs. Some from Obama's campaign accused the partisan, spooge-spewing cocksucker of lying to Republican delegates when he claimed that Obama never reached across party lines.Oh for the love of... it damn well fucking better be!!!
Meanwhile, according to Roll Call, some sources within the Democratic Party predicted that Lieberman could "face punishment for party disloyalty" if the Dems win a majority in the Senate. Others insist that retribution isn't in the cards.

Jesus effing CHRIST -- WTF DO you have to do to be expelled from the Dem party??!?! Any group/organization/club is formed because it's members share certain basic core values, and it's NOT undemocratic to expect members to adhere to those values. It's not to say that you still all dissent, but when a member goes to a competing group and runs your group down and is very destructive towards your group's goals, then he/she should obviously be expelled. No hard-feelings, but it's time to part ways -- kind of like when your spouse starts sleeping with other people, realistically it's pretty much near the end of the relationship.
