Blowjobs put our nation in peril; war crimes - not so much

The Weekly Yambag's Bill "Always Wrong" Kristol pulls another one out of his well-worn ass:

""We have been through a dark and painful chapter in our history," President Obama said when he ordered the release of the Justice Department interrogation memos. Actually, no. Not at all. We were attacked on 9/11. We responded to that by using the Constitution as a beer-coaster and... what? Oh. The dark and painful chapter we have to fear is Obama's, in which politicians preen moralistically as they throw patriotic officials who helped keep this country safe to the wolves... Obama throws the door open to years of lawsuits and investigations that will do injustice to those who've served the country and will demoralize those still seeking to do so."

Yeah -- tell that to Bill Clinton, you hypocritical douchewad.

Has any one ever just given this little douchebag a well deserved and righteous beating? If not, why?

Once again, Maru, your headline is a satirical dagger in the heart of the inverse-valued Reich wingers! I know you and others, (as well as myself) have proclaimed it NUMEROUS times -- some people might think it's 'boring' -- but when it gets down to it, there IS a priority ranking the morality of peoples' actions, a 'proportionality'. It IS worse to rob a bank than to steal a candy bar; it IS worse to kill someone intentionally than purely accidentally. There's grey areas of morality (ie; when is it right to advocate an armed rebellion against a bad government? etc, etc), but in NO moral universe (short of comic-book 'bizzaro-world') is it MORE important to have a 6 or 7 yr investigation into a non-existent scam (ie; Whitewater) and a sexual indescretion (Clenis' BJ) and yet NOT have an investigation into probable war crimes ordered by former government officials! First and foremost should be W & Cheney's prosecution for pursuing a war of aggression in Iraq - - there's just NO fucking excuse for letting that go! If you let people get away with THAT -- the crime that excuses all others -- then what moral ground do you have to stop people from doing almost anything else?? And I'm not necessarily saying it should end with W - - there's plenty of other US presidents who should be examined. After all, there's no statue of limitations on murder in this country...
