Sigh

Every other news source in the US: "DHS warns against right-wing extremists"

Fux Noise, freetardia: "Administration battles against heroic, freedom-loving Amuricans!"

"The new Democrat regime in Washington calls political opponents a threat to national security!!" yawps one metric assloads of hyperventilating turds in the rightwing blogodrome.

Oh really. First, the report is talking about extreme right-wing groups like Posse Comitatus, the KKK, the armed militia whackjobs, homegrown terrorists and neo-Nazis. Or does that describe ALL rethuglicans? Second, it was begun more than a year ago, before Barack Obama was even nominated. You drooling cumbuckets. Get a fucking grip.

Bonus: "A DHS official said the department was not trying to squelch free speech by issuing the report. 'There is no link between extremists being talked about in that report and conservative political thinkers, activists and voters,' the official said." Unsurprisingly, this meant absolutely nothing to the tinfoilhatters.

Double-bonus: "'If the Bush administration had done this to left-wing extremists, it would be all over the press as an obvious trampling of the First Amendment rights of folks and dissent,' conservaturd radio hack Roger Hedgecock babbled into his frito-stained microphone.
"In fact, the Obama administration in January did issue a warning about left-wing extremists. Both reports were initiated during the administration of former President George W. Bush."

Hey..I say if they all want to be lumped into the group with the extremists, like it seems they do, let 'em. I don't have a problem with classifying every conservatard an extremist. They've been classifying everybody on the left as extremists for years. It's about time the tables were turned.
