Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The Morally Bankrupt Party of Permanent Irrelevance continues its string of inaccurate comparisons, this time saying the military coup in Honduras to oust leftist President Zelayais no different from Al Franken winning the election.

"On what basis does the Administration demand Zelaya's reinstatement?" coup-supporter Jim DeMint asked. "His removal from office was no more a coup than was Gerald Ford's ascendance to the Oval Office, or our newest colleague Al Franken's election to the Senate."

Idiot.

The Senate sits still for a lot of shit, but they do look out for their own, and this is a childish and petulant slander of a sitting senator.

If there's any justice, DeMint at the least has bought himself a censure from the full senate. Stand by for the traditional republican non-apologetic apology.

Either behave, or wipe your nose and go wait in the cloakroom until the grownups are through talking, Sonny.
