Ensign proudly announces the new gpuke ethical standard: I did nothing 'legally wrong'

‘I mean, it’s not like I got a blowjo… OK, wait…’

Adulterer and still-Senator John Ensign told the Ass Press on Wednesday that his affair with a friend's wife was a mistake but not as bad as former President Bill Clinton's relationship with a White House intern because he didn't lie about it under oath.

Melanie Sloan, CREW's executive director, said Ensign's distinction between his situation and that of Clinton was essentially an attempt to claim his affair was less contemptible:

"Isn't that a little like saying, 'It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is?’”
Really. There was no controlling legal authority!!

When you’re under oath in divorce court you won’t feel so fucking smug, you sanctimonious fuckhead.

How's that work? You take an oath to your wife, but it isn't as important as the other oath...is that correct?
