    Speaking of stupid

Weeping Senator Jim DeMint of the Party of No: “it’s not our fault!!!”

“Just because we don’t want to work with the Dems doesn’t mean the President should not roll over for us,” says gpuke idiot.

"The president is the one who put the kibosh on working together, and now he's just trying to use the mainstream media to confuse the American people. The fact is I think he thinks Americans are stupid, and he's going to play this out until he gets a headline in every paper that Republicans are obstructionist. The fact is, he's the one who's obstructing real bipartisanship."

Yes, because there are 41 little Obamas voting "no" repeatedly on the Senate floor the past two days.

Teabagging racist birthers giving teabagging racist birther state a bad name

Their senile, pandering senator is not helping, either.

Arizona is “turning into a punch line,” one of the state’s newspapers reported Friday after surveying the latest global commentary about the state featuring choice phrases such as “wingnut paradise,” “nuttiest legislative body,” “America’s dumbest state,” and “blazing a trail into the fringe.”

It was hardly news to Arizonans, though. Last fall, the state’s governor, Jan Brewer, was caught on video in Tucson expressing her “great relief, to say the least, to get out of that hellhole in Phoenix ."
Even some of the state’s own politicians have begun referring to Arizona as a “laughing stock.”

If English was good enough for Jesus, its good enough for immigrants

Noted dumbass helping to turn the GOP into the Morally Bankrupt Party of Permanent Irrelevance.

Republican Alabama goobernatorial candidate Tim James vows in a new campaign ad that if he's elected, he'll give the state driver's license exam only in English, as a cost-saving measure.

"This is Alabama; we speak English," he says in the ad. "If you want to live here, learn it."

It's not clear how James thinks the change would save the state money. Alabama could actually lose billions of dollars in federal funding if it enacts the measure.

Sponsors, viewers flee tinfoiled jerkwad’s gory yet uninteresting trainwreck.

First, the latest Nielsen low: Glenn Beck just posted another ratings low for this year.

And that has to be sending up all kinds of red flags inside Fox News, which already struggles to find any big-name advertisers to fill out the commercials on the controversial show. Keep in mind, there are more than 200 companies that have gone on the record as saying they will not buy ad time on Glenn Beck's show.

Corporate America (aka the beloved free marketplace) wants nothing to do with Beck.

On last night’s Hannity, Fox ‘News’ contributor Sarah Palin did what she does best - complain about the “lamestream media throughout our country.” This time, the media’s “lame[ness]” was revealed through their coverage of Arizona ’s new controversial immigration law.

Palin sniffed: “One of the media outlets the other day just was killing me on this one, Sean, where they had a caption across their screen that said Arizona law will make it illegal to be an illegal immigrant? Some bizarre type of headline like that where it was just this illustration that they just don’t get it.”
The media outlet? Yerp, her very own Faux Nooze.

    Failure of Leadership

Kenyan citizen and Manchurian Islamocommiemarxistnazijihadadist President Obama is considered most popular leader in the world.
Teabagger and Rushthuglibot heads on brink of implosion while incoherently arguing that that this bad for Amerika.

    Teabagger favorite under federal investigation.

Now that Republicans have made him the U.S. Senate front-runner, Marco Rubio is trying to weather potentially damaging revelations about his credit card use, double billing for airfare and murky finances.

A few months ago, the former Florida House speaker seemed an unlikely bet to beat Gov. Charlie Crist in the party's Senate primary. And in those months, Rubio's lavish spending has come under scrutiny of federal investigators.

Spending by Rubio and other GOP officials who cast themselves as fiscal conservatives opens them to charges of hypocrisy in a state hard hit by the recession. Florida's unemployment rate was 12.3 percent in March, above the national average, and home foreclosures are widespread.

Among the expenditures that have been called into question: a $134 charge at a men's salon in Miami; hotel rooms for a family get-together; and purchases at a wine store.
... repairs to Rubio's family minivan, grocery bills, and plane tickets for his wife.

But... but... Charlie Crist is a RINO!!!

I'd see THAT on a Broadway stage.

Ol' Grandpappy McKeating abandons another of his principles

Former self-proclaimed maverick – who never said he was a maverick, so don’t call him one – does something unmavericky by flipflopping on one of his own pet projects, in order to save his career by pandering to xenophobic, teabagging submorons.

Cantankerous dotard John McCain, who once championed a path to citizenship for the nation's roughly 12 million undocumented immigrants, is now pushing for a crackdown on illegals amid the toughest re-election fight of his career.
Yeah, didn’t see that coming. What an unmaverick a jerkoff.

The Party of No: "up or down vote does not apply for Dems"

Tiresome little pissant Jon Kyl (R-Another AZ jerkwad) finally deigns to show up and do his job, then blocks votes on 97 federal nominees in one day. 97. In one fucking day.

Republicans have been blocking votes on nominees to federal posts, taking longer to confirm President Obama’s nominees to executive agencies than nominees submitted by the previous three administrations. Due to these blocks, there is a backlog of 101 executive branch nominees that have yet to be voted on.
More, from the America-hating People For the American Way:
Under President Obama, Senate Republicans have refused to agree to move forward on even the most routine nominations, slowing down the process of confirmation and grinding the business of the Senate to a halt. GOP leaders have objected to unanimous consent agreements and demanded cloture votes they have no expectation of winning simply to chew up valuable legislative time and constrict President Obama's ability to enact his policies...

The GOP seems unconcerned with the consequences of this obstruction. But no one else should tolerate this irresponsibility. Republican Senators need to be called on for their obstructionist tactics and held accountable for their disingenuous political strategy.
Sigh. If only there were some means of communicating this intransigence... some type of agency that would disclose and share information such as this to others...

Racist dumbasses approve unconstitutional birther bill

Chawdribbling, Confederate-wannabes put down their Hot Wimmin a’ NASCAR calendars and pick up their cowshit-caked jackboots.

Just a few days after Arizona lawmakers passed an immigration law that will essentially require anyone who is or looks white like a neonazi an immigrant to carry their proof of residency at all times, the Arizona House voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate and prove his own citizenship status if he hopes to be on the state’s ballot when he runs for reelection.

Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona “the laughing stock of the nation.”

-- via an email from Media Matters after the bloated weasel was called on the carpet by his employers for almost hosting a teabagging party last week.

Bonus laugher of a headline: Hannity yanked from Tea Party "Rally" to preserve Fox's "illusion of journalistic credibility"

"The press needs to treat Murdoch and Ailes as politicians and hold them accountable for promise to investigate Fox's tea party promotion."

    Sarah Palin's ignorant imperialism

Caribou Barbie is a fucking moron, says journalist/historian, most of Planet Earth.

She's been going around to Tea Party rallies, invoking the spirit of revolutionary Boston and castigating Obama for failing to exalt American power and punish our adversaries. She seems blissfully unaware that the imperial arrogance she's preaching isn't how the American founders behaved. It's how the British behaved, and why they lost. Palin represents everything the original Tea Party was against.

British hawks responded exactly as Palin now recommends: by focusing on ego, power, and dominance. There was no America , as a nation, until Britain foolishly behaved as Palin now wants America to behave. Her advice is a prescription for superpower suicide. If she understood the Boston Tea Party as more than a slogan anything, she'd know that.

Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) fired up an already boisterous crowd of gun lovers, sign toters, rustlers, cut-throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, conmen, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers, Methodists and self-proclaimed Constitutional defenders by railing against his "socialist" colleagues on Capitol Hill

Broun told the crowd, "We have a lot of domestic enemies in the United States , and they work down the Mall," referring to certain members of Congress. Soon after, Broun added that Second Amendment defenders like himself and those in the crowd—many of them sporting bright orange stickers saying "Guns Save Lives"—needed to protect themselves from "the tyrannical government of the United States " and fight back against the "socialists that are running Congress."

"They're coming for our freedom, for our money, for our kids, for our property. They're coming for everything because they're a bunch of socialists!"

"They're attractive especially to the Republican Party, which is not known as a party that really does well with the opposite sex," Maher said. Not quite getting the concept

Bootstrappy grassroots DC teabagger rally was taxpayer-funded.

Reprehensible loon Michele Bachmann solidified her place in the national spotlight in November when she publicly demonstrated just how fucking crazy she wa... ahem, sorry, when she gathered thousands of Tea Party activists in front of the U.S. Capitol for a "House Call on Washington," to stop the Democrats' health care bill. Months later, official expense reports show that the boisterous, “10,000-person” rally to rein in big government and stop runaway spending cost U.S. taxpayers nearly $14,000.

Under fire, "furious" Fox Noise pulls partisan poophead from teabag turnout

Frothing Fox Fraudcasting execs remove pimply buttface Sean Hannity from scheduled appearance, demand he be less obvious in promoting Fox Nooze Tea Party Protest events.

Amidst a firestorm of criticism, reportedly "furious" Fox “News” executives yanked Sean Hannity from taping his April 15 show at a Cincinnati Tea Party event.

Hannity's appearance, which was promoted on 18 different editions of his Fox News program, elicited criticism from news and broadcast veterans who questioned the ethics of raising money for a political organization during a production of a Fox News [sic] show.

Media Matters investigative reporter Joe Strupp reported that "Hannity's plan to do his show from a Tea Party event that will charge admission is raising ethical worries among several news and broadcast veterans. The idea that a news show that covers the Tea Party issue, among others, would seek to raise money for the event during a production of the show has some in the industry crying foul."

"Unequivocally, from our standpoint, this is wrong," declared Kevin Smith, president of the Society of Professional Journalists. "For a news organization to charge people for access, then take that money and roll it over to a political action group that they cover quite a bit… It has gotten to the point where you cannot delineate between Fox News and the Tea Party movement - it is incestuous. There is a clear conflict of interest here."

Alicia Shepard, ombudsman for National Public Radio, also found fault with the plan. “'If the job of a news organization is to present the facts in an unbiased way and if Fox is charging people to raise money for a political cause, then they are undermining their mission to be fair and balanced.”

Frank Sesno, who spent 21 years at CNN and now serves as director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University , said: 'It violates virtually every rule of every ethical guideline that journalism covers. The idea that you would support a [political] movement and ask your audience to pay for it.'

Baltimore Sun critic David Zurawik also criticized Hannity and Fox, writing “[A]s a down-the-middle media critic, who has defended Fox News more than perhaps anyone else in the mainstream media, I need to go out of my way to say that what Hannity and Fox News are doing is wrong. Even if you buy the argument promoted by Fox management that Hannity's show is opinion, not news, and everyone on the planet knows that, it is still wrong to use your broadcast in such an overtly poilitical manner… But for Fox News to let Hannity take his show on the road and use it as a political tool to help mount dissent and fan the flames of protest is another thing altogether.”

Angry Fox News executives ordered host Sean Hannity to abandon plans to broadcast his nightly show as part of the Tea Party rally.
Wonder who he’s blaming for THAT fiasco. Heh. Turd.

An “agitated” John McCain says ‘Don't call me a maverick.’

Facing a primary challenge from tinfoiled potatohead JD Hayworth, the Arizona senator is trying to recast himself as a GOP loyalist.

McSenile, who built his political persona and his 2008 presidential campaign around the claim that he’s a “maverick” recently blatted : “I never considered myself a maverick.”

When POLITICO asked McCain about the contradiction at the Capitol this week, the querulous old Republican grew visibly irritated and snapped: “I’ve been called a thousand things. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I am not a communist. I may be a liar, a pig, an idiot, a communist, but I am not a porn star! ”

Scott Brown snubs Sarah Palin, teabags teabaggers

Possibly-cranially-enhanced Senator tries to mainstream himself by avoiding the frothing nutsos of the Tealiban.

US Sen. Scott Brown, whose stunning victory in January was fueled in part by Tea Party anger, has snubbed the grassroots group and declined its invitation to join Sarah Palin Wednesday at a massive rally on Boston Common.
Excuse me? Ahem… you fucking whores: Sen. Scott Brown, whose victory in January was helped by Faux Nooze’s incessant partisan bleating, has snubbed the grassroots -- fuck! -- GRASSROOTS MY ASS! -- group of deluded, racist gpuke operatives and declined their invitation to join Ditsy McCaribou Wednesday at a gathering of loons that Fux is certain to photoshop into thousands.

Average, bootstrappy hockey mom expects to be treated as royalty by cash-strapped university run by gpuke-happy nimwits. Its in her contract. Which we know, even though the uni tried to shred the damn thing.

A group of students at California State University Stanislaus retrieved five pages of the contract from a campus trash bin last Friday after hearing administrators were engaged in shredding documents. Palin's appearance has generated controversy for speaking at a publicly funded university while not disclosing her speaking fee.

The contract detailed the former Alaska governor's requirements for her visit, including first-class flights from Anchorage to California — if she flies commercial. If not, "the private aircraft MUST BE a Lear 60 or larger," the contract specifies.
Palin also must be provided with a suite and two single rooms in a deluxe hotel near the campus. During her speech, her lectern must be stocked with two water bottles and bendable straws.

The document, dated March 16, does not include compensation details for Palin, who commands speaking fees as high as $100,000.
Besides first-class airfare for two and like totally AWESOME bendy-straws, Princess Pinenut’s contract also calls for chauffered SUVs or black towncars, and her luxury hotel rooms must include high-speed internet, a laptop, and a printer preloaded with paper.

After equating participating in the US Census with heresy, white slavery and eating out your own mom, conservatards now realize that undercounting in conservative strongholds could result in fewer seats for the GOP in Congress, as well as in statehouses around the country.

On that note, favorite rethuglican hobgoblin Karl Rove filmed a public-service announcement to counter anti-census feelings among the right.

"If you've not yet mailed back your 2010 Census form, it's not too late," Rove says in the spot. "Please answer the 10 easy questions. They're almost the same ones that Madison helped write for the first census back in 1790."

Republicans were also split when asked to identify the most powerful figure in the GOP.

It appears viewers weren’t thrilled either -- the show’s ratings didn’t even beat those of the program it replaced, Greta Van Susteren’s Surgery-Enhanced Boobies.

Moreover, the show “shed viewers from start to finish,” losing 18 percent of viewers over the course of the program.

Controversy brewing over teabagger speaking engagement at CSU

Your school is suffering from huge cost increases and your students are having trouble getting the classes they need. Do you: c) pay a renowned nitwit over $100,000 to squalk divisive talking points on the university dime.

Students, professors, political scientists, a state senator and other cranially-endowed critics want California State University to reveal how much they're paying Sarah Palin to spout nonsense psuedo-folksy propaganda, which they suspect might be more than $100,000.

The CSU speech will celebrate the university’s 50th year. CSU officials have publicly stated they cannot release the celebrity dumbass’s compensation due to a confidentiality term in her contract. But Sen. Leland Yee (D) of San Francisco , who chairs of the committee on public records and open meeting laws, says the public – including students – have a legal right to the information.

Whatever the objections, many say they are exacerbated by tough economic times. A national day of action saw student rallies that began in California spread nationwide in protest of cuts in education. There were campus strikes and sit-ins.

“Our students are being slammed by enormous fee hikes while cuts mean they can’t get the classes they need,” says Lillian Taiz, president of the California Faculty Association. “This resistance to transparency is another slap in the face. CSU executives need to show more respect for the people they supposedly serve.”
Why does Sarah Palin hate our children?
