White House officials today again raised the possibility of an executive-privilege claim on e-mails and other documents from private e-mail accounts used by senior White House officials but controlled by the Republican National Committee.But... but... how can they claim executive privilege if the e-mailing was done using the RNC server? Especially when they did it that way in order to sleaze their way around the law! If they are "RNC e-mails," the White House now can't assert executive privilege, can they? Dammit!
The law says they must preserve the e-mail and all other recorded transactions for the purpose of OVERSIGHT! The Bushites just can not accept that their wild and crazy drunken power days are over.
