I'm no fan of all this media coverage of 'celebrity', with PH being the latest in the long line of sleaze journalism that I try to studiously ignore. But an interesting critique/analysis of PH's legal status comes from an unlikely socialist website, WSWS, in this article: http://www.wsws.org/articles/2007/jun2007/hilt-j09.shtml I think it makes a good point about the media & populace substituting 'PH justice' for the much larger & egregious social injustices that it reconciles itself to daily...
