I'm always amazed that cats can sleep in such contorted positions -- and they're doing it for around 16 hrs/day! Our cat will occasionally sleep curled-up with her head BELOW the rest of her body, as well as upside down.. I don't think I could endure a position like that (even if I could somehow position myself that way) for more than 5-10 minutes, much less the 3-4 stretches she lasts...
Checked out the 'zuzafun' site and it's got all the classic kitty sleeping positions! The most amazing to me was the first one with the cat sleeping on top of the dog! The second pix is the position I was trying to describe above -- head upside down and lower than the rest of the body, which would seem like a permanent head-rush...
