It sure isn't our cat - - when you do that 'hide-and-return' thing with her, she can't resist more than 2 cycles before she has to run around the corner and see what you're doing! (Course we don't have the dramatic background music -- maybe that made this cat more skittish?) In fact it's the most reliable way I know of getting her to come into a room voluntarily (like when we need to bathe her)...
