Changing the tone in Washington

Preznit Evil, in his interview with ABC yesterday, said he regretted "the fact that the tone in Washington got worse, not better" during his time in the White House.

As Joe at AmericaBlog says, this is "almost funny. Bush and his political minions, led by Karl Rove, were on a crusade of destruction and divisiveness. They reveled in making the tone worse and a lot uglier."

For the past 8 years -- at least -- they've been joyfully making the slime pie higher, going all-out to demonize everyone and everything that didn't have an R after its name or wasn't endorsed by a rethuglican. We were unpatriotic defeatocrap traitors in league with the terrorists. We were troop-haters who hated America.
