Wow, that is very white. Such goes a long way to explaining the popularity of rock and roll with white teenagers in the 1950s. Escape from that paradigm was absolutely necessary. Something had to be done!
Needs more reverb! I had forgotten just how horrible this stuff was, and Mitch Miller was like the friggin' King of the recording business at the time.
