Hi guys
Sad news: my mom passed away yesterday due to complications from cancer. We seemed to have spent all our time with her these past few months as she got weaker and weaker, but I do not begrudge one second of it. She was singing and joking almost till the end, and she not only worried about us, but all the charities she donated to. She was a terrific lady and will be greatly missed.

ReplyDelete(((((((MARU))))))))). You were blessed to have so much time with her in her final days. I spent some time every day with my father as he slowly left this world and it was a wonderful thing.

ReplyDeleteSad to hear about your mom, Maru -- it's tough to take. It helped me to recall the things I treasured about my mother when she passed away (from a reoccurence of breast cancer), even some of the negative things. It took me awhile to not feel a twinge when I thought about her... probably a good 3 or 4 yrs.

We all go through our parents passing on but remember she'll always be with you, just a mere thought away.
