I'm shovelling out from 6 inches of snow today. There I was, huffing and puffing, not even a third of the way down the driveway, when the BF phoned from his business trip and said "the snow's not so light anymore, is it?!" I could've cheerfully gone thru the phone line and strangled him. But first, the nooze:

Go, and never darken my towels again!
Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill and economic adviser Larry Lindsey were booted from pReznit Privilege's economic team amid 'growing concerns' of well, not things like the unemployment rate rising to 6 percent on Friday, the highest in nearly nine years, but that the lagging economy could hamper Bunnypants' re-election prospects.

Here's Ari 'the Liar' Fleischer's comment: "They have both served the president ably and well in leading the nation from a period of recession into a period of growth." Did I miss something??

It'll be interesting to see which serial liars/criminals from the Reagan/Poppy years will get the jobs. - link.

And so it begins
9/11 Relatives Accuse G.O.P. of Blocking Panel Member -
Relatives of the Sept. 11 victims said today that their choice as a Republican appointee to the commission investigating the terrorist attacks, Warren Rudman, was being blocked by Republican leaders and the White House.

Stephen Push, a spokesman for the families, said they believed that Mr. Rudman was the only Republican both highly qualified to participate in the investigation and sufficiently independent of his party's leadership to ensure a thorough and impartial inquiry.

"Warren Rudman is the only Republican candidate for this position that all the families trust," he said. - link.

So forget it right now
The Bush misadministration says it has solid evidence that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, but feels no obligation to prove its allegations before leading an attack on Baghdad. - link. F*cking crap.
