Guess who turned 100 years old today?! It's senator/playboy/fossil Strom Thurmond! The celebrations will go on through the weekend, culminating in a ceremony at Andrews Air Force Base on Dec 12: the Air Force will name its 100th C-17 cargo plane the "Spirit of Strom Thurmond," as Lynne Cheney, clad in a red-white-and blue unitard, pops out of vat of vanilla pudding singing "Love to Love You Baby." - link.
