I've tried something else with the new site links, but it didn't work. I don't think I'm going to get much help from Blogger since I'm using the free service, but I'll give them another try.

Government officials are discussing the current five-color terra threat alert system to determine whether a higher level of risk should be added before a possible war with Iraq.

The talks were prompted by the belief of some in the misadministration that when we finally carpetbomb them evil mothf*ckers to hell if the U.S. takes military action against Iraq the threat level should be raised above orange to indicate an even greater risk of retaliation against Americans and U.S. targets overseas. But there is fear that raising the risk to the ultimate warning level - red, like the smirking gob of Squinty the Boilfaced Boozer - would do serious harm to an economy that's already in the crapper. - link.
