"If pResident Bush wants to help Iraq, why doesn't he give them the money he's raised for his reelection and not my tax dollars?" -- an email to Crossfire.
Lies about Iraq rise to level of the absurd
Why does he hate America?
Dick 'Chicanery' Cheney, grownup in charge, is still lying through his teeth and insulting us all.
'Saddam had no WMD, no nuclear program and no ties to al-Qaida. So invading Iraq did little or nothing to improve our security. It did, however, come at a cost that may take decades to fully tally.
'The invasion has strained our alliances and international standing, making it difficult to draw support against real threats in North Korea and Iran. Our military is overextended. The financial toll is $150 billion and counting; the toll in U.S. lives continues to mount as well.
'If the administration truly did expect all that, they are bigger fools than even their harshest critics have claimed.'

Halliburton overcharges in Iraq
Why does he hate America?, part 2:
Two Democratic lawmakers say Dick 'dick' Cheney's "former" company, Halliburton, is gouging U.S. taxpayers while importing gasoline into Iraq.
Reps. Henry Waxman of California and John Dingell of Michigan say that Halliburton's KBR subsidiary is billing the Army between $1.62 and $1.70 per gallon, while the average price for Middle East gasoline is 71 cents. 'Although Iraq has the second largest oil reserves in the world, the U.S. taxpayer is, in effect, subsidizing over 90 percent of the cost of gasoline sold in Iraq,' the lawmakers said.
In a further move against Halliburton, Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., announced Wednesday he would propose barring the government from awarding Iraq reconstruction contracts to companies that maintain close financial ties to the resident, vice resident or members of the resident's Cabinet."
