Schwarzenegger: it's not my fault, it's the fault of the media for reporting my disgusting conduct
Arnold Schwarzenegger is following an old political tradition with his criticism of the media and the women he is accused of groping: Blame the messenger.

The Gropin'fuhrer is attacking the Los Angeles Times for its reports detailing claims of his abuse of 15 women. Aides have accused the newspaper of practicing "irresponsible journalism" and denounced the allegations as a last-minute smear campaign to help Gov. Gray Davis, conveniently forgetting that everything about this recall election has been 'last-minute' or that Arnold has been smearing Davis instead of his own buddy Ken Lay of Enron, who allegedly was responsible for running the CA economy down the crapper.

Newspaper officials have said they published the claims as quickly as the could, and that it would have been wrong to wait to publish the allegations until after Tuesday's election.

In an interview with NBC anchor Tom Brokaw Schwarzenegger at first denied he grabbed or groped any woman, saying, "This is not me." A minute later, he said he was not denying all accusations. "Not at all," he said. "But I'm just saying this is not me. What I am is someone that sometimes makes outrageous jokes, someone that is out and says sometimes crazy things that may be offensive because there is a certain atmosphere.''

When Brokaw asked about Davis's call for the actor to address the charges, the monosyllabic meat-mountain said it was Davis who owes the people of California an apology.

Brokaw replied: "You're not going to be any more specific about these charges in terms of your denials?"

"As soon as the campaign is over, I will," Schwarzenegger replied. "I can get into all of the specifics and find out what is really going on. But right now, I'm just really occupied with the campaign."
