White House rules out three top aides as the source of leak
White House spokesliar Scott McClellan said senior Bush political aide Karl Rove, vice presidential chief of staff Lewis 'Scooter' Libby and National Security Council senior director Elliott Abrams, had each denied being the traitorous squealer. Oh, well, that's OK then....
In a related story, Dick 'Chicanery' Cheney was in an undisclosed location and therefore unavailable for comment. He is expected to remain there until he is needed for another high-roller fundraising dinner or game-hunting kill-a-thon with ultrarich campaign contributors and oil buddies.
