Evangelicals doubt Giuliani
"What's this about gerbils?" asked a concerned Dobson.
A Southern Baptist leader said Tuesday that evangelical voters might tolerate a divorced presidential candidate, but they have deep doubts about GOP hopeful Rudy Giuliani, who has been married three times. Richard Land, head of public policy for the Southern Baptist Convention, said that evangelicals believe Giuliani showed a lack of character during his divorce from second wife, television personality Donna Hanover.
"I mean, this is divorce on steroids," Land said. "To publicly humiliate your wife in that way, and your children. That's rough."
So, looks to me like the bible thumpers are going to be in a tizzy for the forseeable future, because it also looks to me like the Repuke Party is plum full of homosexuals.
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't know better, I would almost say they are discovering there is another party or two to vote for???
Imagine if Poirot had also had the bible belt voters with him???? Hmmmm, maybe that is what Mitt the Mormon sees, too?
A President unaligned with either established party....the minds reels.
If he says I can marry more than one wife, I'm voting!!!!!! Oh, wait, is he a divorce attorney by profession??? Nevermind.
