Fuzzy dinner guests update
Fluffy the possum is a girl. Yesterday we watched her tear out dried crabgrass with her teeth and stuff a big pile of it under her butt, then wrap her tail around it to bundle it up. She then tail-carried it away to one of the old groundhog holes under the birdfeeder for a nest. It was the most amazing thing! The one time I didn't have my camera handy...
I did get these of another visitor, though:

Bambi!
The fawn is beautiful...does she come around often? Hope you leave her something to eat now and then. Re the opossum, they like peanut butter
and bird food...we have had them for years...allsizes...they also get along with "passive" cats...I had four cats and they never bothered the wild brothers who travailed the back yard...along with raccoons, rabbits and you name it....only ones we didn't like were the mice they would bring home to me and drop on the floor...fun trying to get them out of the house!
Keep the pics coming...love them
I put out bird seed, dried corn and peanuts. There's also the fish pond up against the house where they can get water.
The deer, along with the possums, are around almost every night.
