The wheels are coming off
The Bush Justice Department official responsible for the firings resigned one day before the Congressional hearings began. DOJ official claims departure was "just a coincidence." Uh-huh. And I'm the Queen of the Prairie.

"Michael Battle's resignation raises even more questions about the growing fallout from the firing of the US Attorneys... Rest assured, we will do everything within our power to unearth the facts surrounding this matter, which calls into question the integrity of our system of law enforcement." - House Judiciary Chairman and hero John Conyers.

This "hero" John Conyers...the same one that stated immediately after the elections that put his party back in power that the oderous tax cuts passed by Bush in 2001 "should stay in place, because people (wealthy, like him) depend on that income" and then out the other side of his mouth, talked about Social Security "reform", and that Americans (Poor, unlike him) should expect reduced benefits and such.

THAT "Hero", Maru?

Sorry, I am still trying to pull this "$5 Billion more than Bush asked for WAR BUDGET" knife these Democrats just shivved me with out of my back.

Excuse me, although expected, still hurts....

No more voting for the "lesser of two evils", or expect to continue pissing and moaning forever....

One of Maru's cats are better presidential material than ALL of the current candidates.

Farang is right. "Impeachment is off the table" is a phrase that can only be associated with a party of appeasement.

If the Democrats had any guts they would waive articles of impeachment under the noses of the administration bullies constantly until they fix the horrible crimes they're guilty of (like guantanamo, domestic spying, endless war on false pretenses, etc.) or until the Dems have no choice but to impeach and remove from office.

But they won't do it because their corporate paymasters won't let them. This is true of more than 90% of all members of Congress. Do you want to vote for the lesser of two evils again?

Not me.
