Senate Dems warn against virulent partisan hackhole as AG

Clinton smear campaigner Ted Olson, who was accused of lying to Congress under the Reagan administration, has emerged as The Uniterer's "top contender to replace” preznental cabana-boy/liar Alberto Gonzales.

“That sneaky fucking asshole will not be confirmed,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Wednesday (paraphrasing). “He’s a partisan, and the last thing we need is another fucking partisan attorney general.”

Dems, including current Judiciary Committee Chairman Pat Leahy, indicated that, if they could find where they misplaced their balls, they would mount strong challenges to Olson if Bush nominates him. “He is certainly not a consensus nominee,” said Sen. Chuck Schumer. “He has a very political background.”
