Report from Finance Committee says Norquist "tax reform" group rips off taxpayers

The Senate Finance Committee reported that Americans for Tax Reform had connections to spanked former lobbyist Jack Abramoff, and has abused its non-profit status by lobbying. A staffer of Rethug Finance Committee chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said he "did not co-author the report because he had hoped it would have included Democratic groups that he believes also breached their tax status."

The usual Rethug strategy: "We did it, but so did they! Neener!" Got to come up with better than that, kids.

Grassley didn't call for hearings; maybe early next year? *hopehopehope*
