Not only did Rep. Tom Reynolds encourage Foley to run again for Congress this fall, but larva-like gasbag Karl Rove let Foley know that it wasn't time to retire yet:
According to the source, Foley said he was being pressured by "the White House and Rove gang," who insisted that Foley run.
". . .they're scared of losing the House and the thought of two years of Congressional hearings, so I have two more years of duty" he told the source.
If he didn't run, Rove told him "it might impact his lobbying career." Mm, extortion. Nice touch, Karl!
Oh, man, I can just taste those two years of Congressional hearings! And the idea of Rove's having indirectly caused them to happen would make them even more fun.
