Gay sex senator's visit to Senate creates awkwardness, tightened sphincters

Larry Craig's return to Capitol Hill left many of his colleagues fumbling for the right words, bathroom stalls, handshake style.

"You don't toss off, er, over, a friend of that duration," stammered Arlen Specter, who added "There's been a lot of talk about Larry in the cloakroom."

I bet.

Ironically, it was the unfortunately-named Sen. Mike Crapo who openly welcomed Craig back.

"He's a good friend and colleague," Crapo said as reporters snickered quietly.
