Very cool

While I never wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up, I love space pics. Bad Astronomy has posted their favorites of 2007, and they are beauts. My favorite, though? Lightning at Weikerscheim Observatory:

    The image of IC 342 filled me with an urge to swan dive into the swirling galaxy and swim amid the jewels. Wow. I picked a bad day to quit droppin L.
