These Neo-cons/Repukelicans remind me of an advanced Alzheimers patient -- occasionally lucid about some insignificant detail that happened 25 yrs ago, but often unable to remember what happened yesterday or last week, or even the name of immediate family members. Of course the big difference is that the Alzheimer's patient is a sympathetic figure, tragically afflicted, who would usually give almost anything to be able to return to normal, while the conscienceless Neo-Con intentionally adapts this distractionary gambit for his own greedy gain and -- in a truly moral society -- would probably be jailed...
