Oh,
tunicates, an animal that is stalk like in structure and looks like glass tulips are seen in Antarctic waters in January 2008.

    Cool and weird.

    Also, IIRC, tunicates are honorary vetebrates, having a notochord in the larval phase, but re-absorbing the structure on the way to adulthood.
