I think McCain's scheme to rob Obama of some of his glory at the Dem Convention by announcing his VP selection may have backfired. McCrank GOT attention, but he's getting a lot of NEGATIVE attention for this obviously pander-pick ("Oh -- look at me -- I'm REAL open-minded -- I picked a woman for my running mate. Of course she's an Annie Oakley conservative [so she'll vote like a good 'ol boy anyway] with NO national government experience and limited state experience, but don't let that stop you from thinking that she's something special!")
