John McCain has been "palling around" with Jew-hating, bigoted crackpots John Hagee and Rod Parsley, indicted felon G Gordon Liddy, noted tax-cheat/Jew-hater and secessionist Sarah Palin, drug-stealing plagiarist Cindy McCain, and George W Bush, under whose watch saw the Sept 11th attacks, Hurrican Katrina, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the current economic crisis. And wait, there's more:

McCain has his own problem with consorting with extremists considering his membership of the board of the U.S. Council for World Freedom, an affiliate of the World Anti-Communist League (WACL). [Paul] Begala noted that the Anti-Defamation League has documented how the WACL “has increasingly become a gathering place, a forum, a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites.”

The big difference between Obama and McCain: Obama did some educational reform projects with William Ayers decades after his Weather Underground activities. McCain was affiliated with the WACL at the time in which it was a nest of neo-Nazis and was openly supporting terrorists like [Salvadorian death squad leader Roberto] D'Aubuisson.

Bonus: a major financial supporter for the WACL was Sun Myung Moon.
