Stevens down the tubes

A federal jury just found Republican Sen. Ted Stevens guilty on all seven counts.
"For the first time in his career, Stevens faces a competitive re-election fight, against Democratic Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich."
Yeah, that's right, Mr Guilty on 7 Felony Counts can still be re-elected into the US Senate.

7 felony convictions of corruption and it's STILL considered a close election? What -- is that MINOR by Republican standards?

I hope this shit-eater goes to jail, and gets a series of tubes shoved up his butthole.

He has been behind in the polls, even before the conviction.

I think he is (deservedly) toast.

Of course, if you're a felon yourself, you can't vote for his opponent.... (WTF?...)
