Rove's deposition began at 10 a.m. and ended around 6:30 p.m, with several breaks to supply the blubberly liar with fresh souls. Conyers would not comment on what Rove told congressional investigators, what the next step in the long-running investigation would be, whether Rove would face additional questioning, or whether the Dems would do as they've always done and fold like a house of cards, the fucking jellyfish.
My money's on the jellyfish to win.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the captain of this. Have these dimwits brought any accountability to bear ever. Was Rover even under oath?
ReplyDeleteWho loves ya, baby, for covering this in your inimitable style!
ReplyDeleteWas Rover even under oath?
ReplyDeleteNo.
However, he was under affirmation to tell the truth, which amounts to the same thing, and is surely as prosecutable for perjury as one under oath.
I don't really understand the difference.
Like crossing your fingers when lying is supposed to somehow negate the lie, I simply don't understand why any legal body would give a shit whether a deponent is under oath or not.
Further deponent sayeth not.
