I still have nasturtiums blooming, and we're under a winter weather advisory thru tomorrow morning, with snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches. Its kind of cool, actually.
Geez - - I thought we had it bad here in 'Beertown', WI, with low 40's & rainy, but SNOW!? in OCTOBER?! Better watch out, it might be the beginning of the 'end-times' there in New Jersey -- ESPECIALLY if it's centered in 'chemical alley'/Newark. Or maybe it's "The Day After Tomorrow" coming true?? AHHHHhhhhhhhh......

i hope you get totally snowed in and can't leave the house for days and daze!!! THAT'S the cool thing. It's official and inarguable LEAVE ME FUCK ALONE weather! when even bills can't get in. LOVE that when it happens! of course be stocked fully on food, booze and cigars or it becomes a whole nother story, but I'm sure you're on top of that, M.

Cool? No, no, it's not. If I wanted early snow I'd live in Colorado or Buffalo. We should still be in Indian Summer.
