Hi guys, I'm still here. I hope you haven't given up on me! Last week the BF got very sick. He's in the hospital now with cirrhosis of the liver. We don't know yet how much damage there is, but he's yellower than a goddamn grapefruit and very weak. They're trying to keep him stabilized. I hope to have some better news and get back to you all soon.

Bwahahahahaha!

Ahmadinejad: "I heard that Osama bin Laden is in Washington , DC . Because he was a previous partner of Mr. Bush. They were colleagues in fact in the old days. You know that. They were in the oil business together."

GOP on oil: Don't blame - unless it's WH

Weeping, discolored boner: “Day One response not fast enough.”

Tiresome orange-tinged weasel John Boehner said [yesterday] he wants to a full investigation of the BP oil spill before anyone assigns blame. Butthat didn't stop party leaders of accusing the White House of being slow to respond to the crisis.
“Butthat”? Awesome!
"I don't think we have all the answers as to what happened. I think it's important we get to the bottom of this before we point fingers and play the typical Washington game," the butthat said, playing the typical Washington game of finger-pointing.
I’ve got a finger for you... butthat.

They hate us for our freedoms

GOP, Taliban, what’s the difference?

John McInsane, who fought and was held prisoner by totalitarian commies: senile, pandering douchewipe, or palin-American?

Bonus: he’s joined by his repulsive laptoy, insufferable quisling Joe Lieberman.

Flashback:

Walter Cronkite is spinning in his grave

It was bad enough that Fux dug up disgraced incompetent Michael Brown. OK, it being Fux, you could sort of expect it. But the “most trusted name in news” and MSNBC? Good God, guys. YOU ARE NOT HELPING.

Chris Matthews to Michael (‘Obama purposely blew up the oil well’) Brown: "You're insane."

Maru to cable nooze: So are you for having this fuckheaded worthless piece of shit on.

Poll: majority of Americans love Islamosociafascism, Hitler

“President Obama's approval rating, buoyed by improved perceptions of his handling of the economy, stands at 51 percent in a new CBS News/New York Times poll. ”

Republican criminal avoids criminal charges

Surprising absolutely nobody, repuglicans decline to charge fellow rethug who lied, cheated, stole, and abused his office, family, and constituents in order to satisfy his illicit and pathetic adulterous lust on the taxpayer dime.

South Carolina 's top prosecutor said Monday he will not criminally prosecute Gov. Mark Sanford for travel and campaign reimbursements that drew dozens of civil charges and the largest ethics fine in state history.
Another case closed for the Party of Personal Responsibility and Moral Values.

WH spokesman’s huge brass ones crush Faux “reporter”

Robert Gibbs comes right out in a press conference and says that the lying liars of Fux Nooze wouldn’t report on the truth if it came up and bit them in the ass --

Fox's Wendell Goler asked a question using the "some people say" formulation to claim that the BP oil spill is President Obama's Katrina, clearly hoping to put Robert Gibbs on the defensive. Gibbs wasn't having any of it:

GOLER: It wasn’t just Fox calling this your Katrina. {No, it was Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, the Daily Standard... - Ed.}

GIBBS: No, but Fox had the very special and unique interview with Michael Brown —who, for those weren’t let in on the big secret, Mr. Brown — FEMA director Brown under Katrina — intimated on Fox — and it wasn’t, I will editorially say, appear to be pushed back on real hard — that this spill was leaked on purpose in order for us to walk back our environmental and drilling decisions, and that the leak that we did on purpose got out of control and now is too big to contain. So, suffice to say —

GOLER: What is Mr. Brown’s attribution?

GIBBS: I can only wish that the network that you work for asked that prior to interviewing him yesterday.

GOLER: The reporters in here asked that. So I’m asking you —

GIBBS: You should call headquarters, my friend, and ask for somebody who makes the decisions to put people like that — because I’ve got to tell you Wendall, I’m not entirely sure a factual answer that I might give to any one of your questions is going to change the notion that your network put out the former FEMA director to make an accusation that the well had been purposefully set off in order to change an offshore drilling decision.
Oh, snap! lol

SCLM: “Obama’s unicorn pooped on my shoes”

“President didn’t use his superpowers to see into the future or spin time backwards,” say teeth-gnashing pundidiots.

Here it comes. The whore media just can’t help themselves.

Even though the President has done nothing to be faulted for, it hasn’t stopped the press corpse from trying to link the disaster in the gulf to a wholly-manufactured “White House crisis.” From drudge’s little asswipe Politicon:

W.H. in P.R. ‘panic’ over spill

The growing oil leak in the Gulf threatens Obama's reputation for competence.
Excuse me? Obama's reputation? You little repuke-asskissing trolls.

And from AssPress writer Erica “Weiner” Werner:
SPIN METER: There since Day One? Maybe not

To hear Obama administration officials tell it, they've been fully engaged on the Gulf Coast oil spill since Day One, bringing every resource to bear and able to ensure without question that taxpayers will be protected.

Not quite.
Oh really, you fucking cunt. Talk about “spin”. Jesus Christ: --
April 20 (10 p.m.): Oil rig explosion. The U.S. Coast Guard Response System assigns primary responsibility for cleaning up oil spills to BP as the responsible party.

April 21: otherwise known as Day One. Bint. Deputy Secretary of Interior, Coast Guard dispatched to region. Following a briefing with President Obama, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Thad Allen, Department of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, EPA Deputy Administrator Bob Perciasepe, and FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate, "Deputy Secretary of the Interior David Hayes was dispatched to the region yesterday to assist with coordination and response."

  • Search and rescue efforts begin for 11 missing.
  • BP confirms U.S. Coast Guard was "leading the emergency response"
  • CNN.com: "The U.S. Coast Guard launched a major search effort."

April 23: Coast Guard "focused on mitigating the impact of the product currently in the water." Federal agencies have technical teams in place overseeing the proposals by BP and Transocean to completely secure the well. A high readiness posture to respond will remain in place.

April 25: Response team implements try to contain oil spilling from source, weather delays cleanup.

April 28: Federal officials realize spill was far more severe than BP led them to believe. "Government officials said late Wednesday night that oil might be leaking from a well in the Gulf of Mexico at a rate five times that suggested by initial estimates...

"For days, as an oil spill spread in the Gulf of Mexico , BP assured the government the plume was manageable, not catastrophic. Federal authorities were content to let the company handle the mess while keeping an eye on the operation...

“But then government scientists realized the leak was five times larger than they had been led to believe, and days of lulling statistics and reassuring words gave way Thursday to an all-hands-on-deck emergency response.”

April 29: Homeland Security declares spill "of national significance"; BP insists its "plan can handle this spill."
  • Lots more at link above.

Take a look at some of the new pics coming out, of the rig engulfed in titanic flames -- the right wouldn’t have been quiet even if Obama had pissed on the fire from a goddamn helicopter a second after it happened.

Bonus: Fux Noise trots out incompetent, mega-fail horse-judge Michael Brown to further erode his and their credibility. For shame.

    Above: Day One firefighting efforts.

Shocker: rethug TX Gov does not blame gays for gulf catastrophe

Wrath of the Almightly instead a warning to liberal elite tree-hugging econazi vegan Dems to keep drilling. So, OK, yeah, gays.

In yet another example of conservative mental and moral midgetry, Texas governor Rick Perry thinks the oil spill is an “Act of God” because, gee, humans certainly had nothing to do with some huge mysterious machine boring hundreds of miles into sweet, sweet crude to make brazillions of megabucks for a few already-rich planet-rapers.

"We don't know what the event that has allowed for this massive oil to be released," Perry said, totally ignoring grammar, and the culpability of Dick Cheney and his oil buddies in the whole mess. "And until we know that, I hope we don't see a knee-jerk reaction across this country that says we're going to shut down drilling in the Gulf of Mexico , because the cost to this country will be staggering."

Perry questioned whether the spill was "just an act of God that occurred" and said that any "politically driven" decisions could put the U.S. in further economic peril.
    So drill, baby, drill! Douche.

God, sorry guys, rough week. Tax filing problems, company closings and layoffs, family shit... The good news is I still have a job. Until July. Whee.

    Quote of the day

"Every asshole who ever chanted 'Drill Baby Drill' should have to report to the Gulf Coast today for cleanup duty."
-- Bill Maher, in a nondouche moment.

    Obama's Waterloo 9/11 Katrina

Or, “you’re doin’ a heckuva job, browny.”

Wanting soooo badly to have him suck as badly as their guy Sucky McFailure sucked, conservaturds attempt to pin every catastrophe imaginable on President Obama...

Another Brett Favre comeback: "Obama's Katrina"

Today: Eleven dead as record flooding engulfs Tennessee. AKA “Obama's Katrina”.

    Oh, and wingnuts?

The gulf oil disaster is not Obama’s Katrina, but dick Cheney’s:

The gulf oil spill is no Katrina, in which 1,836 people died amid the near total devastation of one of America ’s great cities…

Unlike Katrina, there has been no obvious failures of government, no images to compare to the Superdome or the flooded streets of St. Bernard Parish. And unlike Katrina, there is an easy target for blame in the current oil spill: the oil giant BP, which by law is the “responsible party” and must pay for all of the costs of the cleanup.
Bonus asschenery: Not only was the oil platform in question built by Dick’s “former” company Halliburton, but the widget that would have prevented the disaster was deepsixed by Cheney during his secret meetings with his oil industry buddies at the beginning of his and Bunnypants' first term.
