"Representative James Traficant is in trouble. Testifying before Congress he said he suffered from rectal trouble. If he thinks he has rectal trouble now, wait until he goes to prison." - Leno

HEY - NICE BEAVER
The surrealistically-coiffed James Traficant, already convicted in federal court of political corruption, moved a step closer to expulsion from Congress today when a House panel found him guilty, guilty, guilty! A House of Representatives Ethics subcommittee said it found the Ohio DINO guilty of nine of 10 counts of violations of the chamber's official code of conduct.

The full Ethics Committee arranged to meet later to consider possible sanctions, with many lawmakers already saying they believe he should be tossed out (the other choices being a fine, a reprimand, or a combination of those).

Traficant's fate will be decided by the full House likely next week. Expulsion requires the approval of two-thirds of the 435-member House, and seeing as how the repugs have the majority, Dead Squirrel Head is sure to remain in Congress.

Traficant told onlookers at his hearing Wednesday that he plans to wear a denim suit and do a "Michael Jackson moonwalk" on the House floor if he ends up defending himself against expulsion in front of the full House. - From Yahoo News.
