BECAUSE WE SAID SO
WASHINGTON (Reuters/wtf) - Unindicted Halliburton CEO Dick 'Chickenhawk' Cheney said it would be "virtually impossible" to assemble an international coalition against Iraq if Saddam Hussein ever got hold of a nuclear weapon.
In an interview with public television's "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer" for broadcast Monday, Cheney also said that the potential for leaks from Congress could limit the administration's ability to give members classified information about Iraq's weapons capabilities. Faced with congressional demands for more evidence to bolster their case against Saddam, Cheney suggested the administration would provide information to only a limited group of senior congressional leaders. Yeah, we don't want Iraq to know that we know what weapons they have.
Dick said time was not on the side of the Republican party before November unless another war could be manufactured United States when it comes to preventing what he said were Saddam's plans to acquire weapons of mass destruction.
"Once he's got a nuclear weapon I think it'll be virtually impossible to put together an international coalition to deal with this problem," Cheney said. "So we better bomb the little f*cker now, before the election, just in case!"
