Costs could be "staggering"
Yeah, but Guinea and Spain are with us!
Washington Squabbles Over Price of Iraq War, Peace

Cost estimates of $61 billion to $95 billion for a 'short conflict' and cleaning up the mess afterwards were leaked by unidentified administration officials on Monday, and Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric Shinseki told the Senate Armed Services Committee he estimated it would take "something on the order of several hundred thousand" troops to keep the peace in Iraq.

In addition to direct war costs, the misadministration is putting together humanitarian supplies, multibillion-dollar economic aid packages for Turkey, Israel and other key allies in the region, plus huge security details to guard the BushCheney oilfields against the Iraqi owners evildoers.

Darth Rummy disagreed with Gen. Shinseki's estimates. "People are entitled to their own opinions," Don 'Warboner' Rumsfeld told reporters. "And the ones they're entitled to should be mine!" - Reuters link.
