Beyond disgusting

I woke up to find that quite a few people this morning emailed me this story from the online version of the NY Times. It's bad enough that the repukes intend on politicizing 9/11 and elevating Smirky to Godhood. But when I followed the link, the wording HAD BEEN CHANGED. Liberal media, huh?

Before:

Goal Is to Lay Cornerstone at Ground Zero During GOP Convention
Rebuilding officials said yesterday that they hoped to complete a review of the environmental impact of the proposed construction at the World Trade Center site by next April, letting them lay the cornerstone of a 1,776-foot tower in August 2004, during the Republican National Convention.

After:

Officials Plan Speedy Ground Zero Environmental Review
Rebuilding officials said yesterday that they hoped to complete a review of the environmental impact of the proposed construction at the World Trade Center site by next April. This would allow them to start construction by the summer of 2004.

Excuse me while I go vomit.
