Feeling safer yet?

Air marshals pulled from key flights
Yep, it's true:
“The fact that this is coinciding with the new airline threats, it just blows our minds,” an air marshal said.

Despite renewed warnings about possible airline hijackings, the Transportation Security Administration has alerted federal air marshals that as of Friday they will no longer be covering cross-country or international flights. The decision to drop coverage on flights that many experts consider to be at the highest risk of attack apparently stems from a policy decision to rework schedules so that air marshals don’t have to incur the expense of staying overnight in hotels. - MSNBC.

BTW...
We're spending one billion dollars a week in Iraq.

Meanwhile...

Sounds awfully familiar, doesn't it?

  • Lying fascist punk's poll numbers dropping

  • Scandals brewing in the misadministration

  • Economy in crapper

  • Increase in terror warnings

  • .... Bunnypants to hide out at Texas flophole entire month of August

US Nobel Laureate: Bush govt - "worst in American history"
George A. Akerlof, 2001 Nobel prize laureate who teaches economics at the University of California in Berkeley, lashed out at the government of George W. Bush, calling it the "worst ever" in American history, the online site of the weekly Der Spiegel magazine reported Tuesday.

"I think this is the worst government the US has ever had in its more than 200 years of history. It has engaged in extraordinarily irresponsible policies not only in foreign policy and economics but also in social and environmental policy," he said.
