Please bear with me as I try to catch up! I was without a computer all day yesterday: first, at work, mine was taken away for an "upgrade" - which means on Monday it'll probably have to be recored because they f*cked up. Then, when I got home, we were hit by one thunderstorm after another. I not only couldn't log on, the cable got knocked out. I spent a half hour playing with the fart machine, blaming the dogs. The parrot was very amused.
In the House of Representatives Wednesday night, Rep. Jan Schakowsky was preparing to read letters from her fellow Illinoisians criticizing the treatment of our troops in Iraq when a Republican presiding over the chamber warned her: "It is not in order to question the integrity of the president."
Why should any reasonable person question George W. Bush's integrity? We already know the answer.
