Compassionate conservative
Callous, lying oilman Dick 'dick' Cheney crawled out of his supersecret bunker/steakhouse long enough to show his bitter, contemptuous phiz at an afternoon service for the 84 NY/NJ Port Authority employees killed in the Sept. 11 attacks. He said nothing.
While officials praised his visit, some families of the Port Authority victims criticized Cheney for not speaking at the service.
"I wish he had said something," said Meena Jerath, whose husband, structural engineer Prem Nath Jerath, was killed on Sept. 11. "He should have said something. It wouldn't take too long to say it. He didn't have to be political. It just has to be addressed to the families, like 'I'm sorry this happened to you.'" - - NY Newsday.
