When you can't counter a critic, go after his wife
It's one thing to be small in politics, another to be mean. But it's a whole 'nother thing entirely to be as petty and nasty as Bush administration officials are accused of being in seeking revenge against former U.S. ambassador Joseph C. Wilson IV.
It is, quite literally, criminal.
