Supreme Court allows secrecy for 9/11 detainees

The US Supreme Court today gave the thumbs-up for their buddies in the misadministration to keep secret the names and details of hundreds of people questioned and detained/arrested after the attacks of 9/11. Without comment, the Supremos refused to hear appeals by civil liberties groups challenging the secret arrests and detentions for violating the Freedom of Information Act and constitutional free-speech rights. The justices let stand an appeals court ruling that disclosing the names could harm national security and help those "plotting future attacks" (via MikeB).
