DNC chairman: Bunnypants' desertion, AWOLity to be issue in prez campaign
Terry McAuliffe said he expected Bush's (non)record of military service during the Vietnam war to become an issue this fall, particularly if John Kerry is nominated.
"I look forward to that debate, when John Kerry, a war hero with a chest full of medals, is standing next to George Bush, a man who was AWOL" from his fixed-by-daddy position in the National Guard, McAuliffe said on ABC's This Week.
