A bomb exploded under a US military vehicle west of Baghdad on Wednesday, killing five soldiers, the military said. At least four people, including one American and possibly other foreign nationals, were killed in a separate attack. Crowds burned and mutilated their bodies. Victims were dragged through the streets.




US weapons hunt shifts focus to 'intent'
The search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq will continue despite the failure to find them, but the taxpayer-funded death-fiasco mission will also investigate the possibility of whether or not Saddam may have intended to someday think about possibly developing some kind of plan to try to design such weapons, the Bushies said on Tuesday.
