Preventing American deaths was beneath Bush's notice
You wouldn't think there would be an attack coming up just because an Aug 6th PDB was titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Inside the US"
"He made clear to us that he did not want to respond to Al Qaeda one attack at a time. He told me he was 'tired of swatting flies .'" - Condoliar Rice, 4/8/04.
He wanted to wait until a really BIG attack took out THOUSANDS!
And then go after Iraq!
"Yeah, whatever...now watch this drive..."
