Guilt by association
Saddam Hussein and the 9/11 attacks

"Facts, shmacts." - the Bush misadminisration.

"But what I want to bring to your attention today is the potentially much more sinister nexus between Iraq and the Al Qaida terrorist network..." - the increasingly irrelevant Colin 'I coulda been a contender' Powell, WH whore.

"The battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September 11th, 2001, and still goes on." - the Smirking Moron, 5/03.

Iraq was "the geographic base of the terrorists who have had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11." - Dick-head Cheney, 9/03.

"We've learned that Iraq has trained al-Qaeda members in bomb-making and poisons and deadly gases. And we know that after September 11, Saddam Hussein's regime gleefully celebrated the terrorist attacks on America." - the nutless Colin Powell again, 2/03.

"...[Claimed that if the U.S. succeeds in Iraq] "we will have struck a major blow right at the heart of the base, if you will, the geographic base of the terrorists who have had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11...." - vp in charge of lying Dick Cheney.

"The liberation of Iraq is a crucial advance in the campaign against terror. We have removed an ally of Al Qaida and cut off a source of terrorist funding..." - Crusader Bunnypants.

"In the post-9/11 era, certain risks are unacceptable. The United States made our position clear: We could not accept the grave danger of Saddam Hussein and his terrorist allies turning weapons of mass destruction against us..." - Dick Cheney, psychopath.

"I have also determined that the use of armed force against Iraq is consistent with the United States and other countries continuing to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001." - the Lying Smackhead.

Fun fact: The chairman of the 9/11 commission said Sunday that al-Qaida had much more interaction with Pakistan and new Bush pal Iran than it did with Iraq.

"Whatever. Now watch this drive."
