Lying asshat tries to rewrite Iraq war-vote story
Snarling liar Dick 'Chicanery' Cheney on Monday accused John Kerry of "campaign amnesia" regarding the vote to authorize the misadministration to go to war.
What he didn't mention, and what Kerry and others in Congress didn't know at the time, was that Cheney and Bush worked with "a hand-picked flock of neo-con chickenhawks" in the Dougie Feith/Paul Wolfowitz' Office of Special Plans to cook up a convincing "intelligence report" that would compel Congress to vote to go to war against Iraq.
Based on this metric buttload of bullshit, John Kerry, like most in Congress, voted to grant Bush the option to declare war if all else failed.
Kerry says now that the war was wrong because the reasons have been exposed as bogus and because Bush, after hoodwinking Congress into granting the war option, bypassed all advice and allies' wishes and rushed headlong into a disastrous invasion.-Thanks to democrats.com.
Now Cheney is rewriting the story, claiming that Kerry and Bush were "looking at the same information" - thereby Kerry has no right to criticize the decision now. One big fact Cheney is leaving out: unlike Kerry, he and Bush knew the information was bogus.
